Complete any combination of two courses, coaching events, and community events between January 1, 2023, and May 12, 2023 to unlock the application for a $10,000 grant in partnership with LISC. Grant applications must be submitted by 11:59pm PT on May 12, 2023 to be considered. Not all applicants will receive funding.

LISC, the Local Initiative Support Corporation, is one of the country's largest community development organizations supporting programs to revitalize underserved communities and bring greater economic opportunity to residents. To date, LISC’s Small Business Relief Grant program has provided over 8,000 entrepreneurs with grants since April 2020.

LISC grants can be used where you need the resources most Grants can be used to invest in digital marketing, upgrade your infrastructure, pay rent and utilities, meet payroll, pay outstanding debt to vendors, or other immediate operational costs.

LISC grants are awarded directly to the business owner This grant opportunity is exclusive to users of the Verizon Small Business Digital Ready program, in partnership with LISC. Each grant award will total $10,000 and grant finalists will be notified by LISC the week of May 18, 2023.

LISC grants do not need to be repaid All taxes associated with the acceptance and/or uses of cash awarded, however, are the sole responsibility of the individual grantee.

Apply by May 12, 2023Applications open on March 1, 2023 and close on May 12, 2023. Applications will be open to small businesses who have completed any combination of two courses, coaching events, and community events between January 1, 2023, and May 12, 2023, and apply by May 12, 2023. Engagements through the Personalized Mentoring feature are not included towards grant eligibility. All applicants will be notified about whether or not they have been selected to receive grant funding by the week of May 18, 2023.
